Tapis Royal is an artisanal company specializing in the production of wool rugs that blend traditional Tunisian craftsmanship with contemporary designs. Its founder, Naima Cherni, passed down this ancestral know-how, characteristic of the northwestern region of Tunisia, to her daughter, Chaima Ben Ali, an electronics engineer who graduated from ISET Kairouan. A winner of the Keffois Klim Olympiad in 2020, Chaima now dedicates herself, alongside her mother, to creating new products that showcase this exceptional craftsmanship. They manage two production workshops, one in Tejerouine and the other in Jezza, which involve around twenty female artisans.
